Many of our research and development activities are carried out in cooperation with neutral partners – universities and research institutes. In fact, our projects are frequently sponsored in part by national and international research programmes. That’s because we are searching for better solutions – not merely justification for our current practices. In fact, this is the entire philosophy behind our NextBAT® technologies, developed in partnership with Götaverken Miljö AB in Sweden.

Our own test centre in Esbjerg, Denmark
We maintain a comprehensive test centre at our manufacturing headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark. Here, we have test boilers and other process units, which are constantly being studied by our engineering staff. Our on-going goals are to improve efficiency, reduce wear and maintenance, and eliminate negative environmental impact - which ultimately leads to greater profitability for our customers.
Most recently, we have teamed with Aalborg University to expand the range of bio energy test facilities in Esbjerg, Denmark. As of June, 2011, we are able to conduct detailed research into the behaviour of biomass as a fuel and optimisation of related technologies.
Over the years we have gained a solid, worldwide reputation as a supplier of proven technology. But who says “proven technology” can't be improved?
