Project management
Prior to contracting and until your plant is well and safe into operation, one of our experienced and committed project managers takes care of your project applying the BWV project execution model; a model which is deeply rooted in the BWV Best Practice in Project Execution and continuously validated and adapted ensuring that our project execution model is always suited for our projects and clients.
Currently, our project managers are undergoing the IPMA® project management certification developed by the International Project Management Association.
Core values and aims of our project management
- A dedicated team headed by a competent, IPMA® certified project manager takes over the full responsibility of the OEM project execution after contract signature of each contract
- The project team is able to make decisions in all matters, including all engineering disciplines, purchasing, quality control, construction and commissioning
- The project execution model is well structured, uniform to all projects and documented in the Quality Manual following the requirements in our ISO 9001:2008 Certified Quality Management System
- Detailed knowledge sharing, planning and predictability are areas of focus in all phases of project execution; We systematically monitor our projects comparing base line with actual progress and identifying the critical path via our specially selected project planning tool, the one best suited for our types of projects
- The predictability in the project execution is based on extensive applied experience derived from many projects previously handed over on time and on cost according to contractual requirement
- Project risk is assessed and documented via the Project Risk and Opportunity Management (PROM) tool throughout the entire project execution phase
- Long experience and cooperation with selected sub-suppliers on key components have added to the successful operation of the plants which we have previously completed
- A close co-operation with clients in all phases of the project execution, predicting the client’s individual requirements at an early stage, is part of successful on-time completion
