The Corporate Research and Development Department at Babcock & Wilcox Vølund is highly dedicated to developing future technologies.
Our main areas of focus are:
- Novel approaches to the conversion of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) to energy
Cooperation with universities and research institutes worldwide
Most of our R & D projects are carried out in cooperation with national and international universities, research institutes and various business partners, and also several projects involving other areas of our company are also in progress.
Research programmes
The projects are frequently sponsored in part by national and international research programmes, and actual experimental work is carried out at partners, customers and our own facilities.
